Competition proposal - Winner

TEAM: Brandsvik + ESJA Architecture + Arkibygg + Anna Landscape Architect + Ístak + the Living Core + exa nordic LOCATION: Reykjavik, Iceland CLIENT: City of Reykjavik

The city of Reykjavik issued a competition titled “Green Housing for the future” that focused on promoting more sustainable housing options in Iceland where a holistic perspective on sustainability was emphasised.

The winning proposal was a product of a fantastic multidisciplinary creative process and involves a vision for the total plot, connections to surrounding neighbourhoods and commercial centers, as well as design and construction of about 14.000 square meters of sustainable housing.
